Charlie needs Bill, needs his steadiness. It was always the two of them, together, and Charlie wasn't about to let that change now.
His strong arms, shaking now with grief, wrap around his brother.
And Charlie just lets go, sobbing into Bill's shoulder.
But underneath it all, in some small, far-back corner of his mind, he's proud of them.
They did it bloody
right.
